Originally, the aircraft was delivered to the legendary Swissair in 1998 with Pratt and Whitney engines. After the grounding, which is still bitterly remembered by all aviation fans, it was taken over by Swiss International Airlines and was in service with Brussels Airlines until 2021.
Brussels is Europe’s Africa specialist par excellence. This Airbus A330 was regularly en route to very exotic destinations like Luanda, Abidjan, Douala or Kigali, and with a bit of imagination, one or two grains of Sahara sand are still stuck to one of the aircraft tags ☺
The Airbus A330-223 thought it had found its final resting place in Enschede in 2021 before we went there and kissed it awake again.
Please be informed, that you order a piece of aviation history. This aircrafttag travelled for more than 1 decade around the world between +40°C and -60°C. This is why you may find dents and scratches on it. As well imperfections of paint may occur. But this is what we want to provide to you.
